I liked this one! I finished the second half of the book in one sitting, staying up until 2am in classic Sanderlanche fashion.

I am not usually blown away by Sanderson's romances, but I actually really liked this one. I also liked the characters, the world building (and the many twists and surprises that came with it), and even the Hoid insertion (which was much, much better done than in Tress of the Emerald Sea, in my opinion). There are some Cosmere references but I don't think they impact the enjoyment of the story in any way, so I'd recommend this to both dedicated Cosmere fans and newbies alike.
