I didn't think I would ever read a James Patterson book because he's not my ~thing~ but my grandpa looked forward to reading every book the man put out. He especially loved the Alex Cross series. I picked this up a few days after my grandpa passed away and, while I didn't particularly love it, I loved learning more about what my grandpa enjoyed. If you see me reading Alex Cross in the future, know that I'm just trying to keep up with my grandpa.
