A cutesy but spicy read with the side characters Kevin and Naamah from The River of Fire.

It's the lust story of a succubus and a fuckboi. It starts with a bang (heh) and only gets hotter as things get hammered and screwed some more. Check your trigger warnings and stay hydrated.

Key words | Tropes : Dark Romance - Fantasy - First person Dual pov - Fast paced - Succubus x Cambion - Enemies to lovers - Spice - Dom mommy - Sub male - BDSM - Traumatic past - lighthearted with its humor and banter

Yet again a lovely and easy read with a gorgeous cover and a great dedication!

To those who find strength in surrender and power in vulnerability.

Perfectly describes Kevin.

It's refreshing to read reversed roles after reading The River of Fire (and also The Gates of Hell).
Kevin and Naamah were made for each other. The horny fuckboi who went through all the girls in camp Abaddon found his match made in heaven. He only has to find it out through an interesting journey that you can read in The Realm Of Shadows.

It is less world-building related but more about the spice, their relationship and their own as individual, which makes it a fun and easy read mixed with Kevin's emotional background/thoughts.

The only remark I have, which is hard to avoid while writing a seperate story of side characters from another book, is that some of it was already known or expected to happen. It made it a bit less captivating due to the lack in tension. The story was still amazing. I really enjoyed being in Kevin and Naamah's head. Great characters.

and that last spicy scene? All the things she can do with her tail? Oh my.. Perfection honestly!

Thankyou again Liana for this wonderful read and giving me the opportunity to read this as an advanced readers copy.
