The Unexpected Guest by Charles Osborne, Agatha Christie

Literal definition of pretty girl privilege...

Very, very readable book - when I bought it, I didn't realise it was a novelisation of Christie's play but I still really enjoyed it. Definitely need to read more as I've loved both this and And Then There Were None...

The endings are always so melodramatic and over the top that it's cliche but also, reading them I'm gagged and gooped. Big fan of this one, can't wait to read more.
