The Complete Cast-Iron Cookbook: A Tantalizing Collection of Over 240 Recipes for Your Cast-Iron Cookware by Cider Mill Press

informative

3.0

I enjoyed the introduction of this cookbook as it featured some good history on cooking methods before and after cast iron, as well as thorough cleaning instructions for an unseasoned pan. However, I felt like a chunk of the recipes were a waste of pages. A bread recipe on one page followed by several pages of the same recipe with only one difference? Could've been a simple footnote instead of a whole extra page. That said, I did grab several recipes of substance, just not enough to feel like the hardcover was worth the price.
