short, not much happens, sad stuff happens, wish there was more in England and less in America.
the one interesting thing to me was that it is set in new York area with the British troops there to stop the revolution. the Friday before I read it, I went to see Hamilton in San Francisco which is all about the revolution from the colonies pov. sooo there was that. I spent a lot of time thinking about the Schuyler sisters roaming the streets "looking for a mind at work" while the h&H did dumb stuff like eat cookies.
