This is a brilliant book. I’ve never read anything like it. It is completely gripping as it is disturbing, unsettling, raw, and so real. You occupy such a close head space with all the characters involved it feels so incredibly real and strange and unsettling. I am not sure exactly what I think about it all but upon finishing it, it all came together elegantly and terrifyingly. This gross fascination in true crime and murder of children is just so relevant (the I love the peed on your grave bit). I think this book is very pointed at our society and everyone reading this book. Seemingly saying, are you any better than us?
