_allegra 's review for:
Arsène Lupin gentleman cambrioleur
by Maurice Leblanc
I found Les Aventures d' Arsène Lupin rather cool. Leblanc doesn't have, à mon avis, the same eloquence as many other authors I've read. I mean, it was a nice reading, Lupin is a cool character, but there is nothing too special about him?
Maybe I just need to get to know him more. I confess that this book caught my interest as I read further on, although each chapter seems to be a sort of short story. I believe they may be linked to one another, or else I wouldn't be able to explain why Leblanc wrote Le Collier de la Reine, in which there is no Lupin, just a character named Raoul: there must be a connection.
all in all it's a pleasant book.
