4.75/5. Very entertaining but also very thoughtful. I really enjoyed the complex family dynamics, and seeing Margot grow. There is a very minor romance sub plot but it is not a focus, and I didn’t mind it. The relationship between her father Jinx and Margo and taking care of the baby Bodhi was the highlight of the book for me. Multiple parts of the book had me laughing out loud and other parts made me feel very emotional for Margot especially the early days of caring for the baby on her own and made me think for critically on the low support provided for single mothers. It especially hits hard as I have an infant and made me very thankful for the support of my husband.
Moderate: Drug abuse, Sexual content, Pregnancy, Sexual harassment
