I’m a Lana Ferguson fan from fake mate. Author did an amazing job weaving this second  book in a way that could be stand alone. Perfect rom-com set up and appreciated the character growth and healing . Lived for the Burt Reynolds moments! You know the photos. Knotting slightly over-emphasized through MMC but understandably. His moral campus is STRONG!
