First graphic novel of the year and it was adorable. Even though it was more YA than J(uvenile), I encouraged my 9yo to read it after I was done and she devoured it in a few hours (maybe less). I really enjoyed the art style and, while the story felt simple (ish), I still think it was very strong and hit some good beats. I'll definitely be looking for more from these authors (both for me and my kid) as well as similar stories in the same format.
