_winterwriter 's review for:
Carnival Hill
by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham
redemption at its finest
As predicted, this series picked up. Usually the sisters give us something good by the third book, though the endings are almost always enough to raise a star. This one was full of tension and excitement, from the cliff of the last book to the reveals and growth of this one. There is one story line that continues to get the short stick and I was really hoping for more than how it was temporarily ended in this book. I was kind of hoping for rogue to make some better stands for her boys in this one but I’m hoping the cliffhanger will make up for it in the next installment.
