A very heartfelt and genuine book, the author masterfully weaves foreshadowing into the pages and the payoff hits hard.
Though its not about the 1953 revolution itself it provides a very interesting look of how Iranian society was at the time, its changes, flaws and virtues, all trough the eyes of a teenager going trough massive changes.
I read the last part of this book in one sitting because I could not put it down and when I finally finished I felt happy that I had read it, happy that I got to be a part of Roya and Bahman's lovestory
