I used to love this series, and stopped reading around book 10 because the story and characters were becoming repetitive.
I picked this up at the library thinking surely something had changed in the last 10-15 years (and 19 books later) but it didn’t. I actually can still remember the same lines from book 10.
This series should be called Groundhog Day bc it’s the same plot over and over. I’m shocked this even has anything above an average rating…. And yes I get it—These are fun, light, and happy books… But I really do feel like the first 1-9 had a bit more plot development. You felt anticipation to read and wonder what was going to happen.
For everyone who is claiming these books are ghost written, I actually think they are putting the most common lines from the books into AI and a robot computer is writing this.
I mean that’s awesome it’s still selling, get that bag …. but for original fans it’s kinda sad
