Peril at End House
by Agatha Christie
I loved this edition of Peril at End House! My copy is beautifully browned with age and smells lovely of old books. It's a shame I'm going to have to read the next few Christie novels on my e-reader; old books are so much more pleasant to read than digital copies. If I'm lucky, my library will open up curbside pick up service soon and I'll be able to borrow a stack.
Nice mystery with a twist ending. I think I started to see what was happening toward the very end but I was a little late on the realization. I honestly don't believe Christie meant for readers to figure out the mystery. I think we were meant to be as surprised as those to whom Poirot explained the crime and exposed the victim.
