The middle was just so slow, I almost got stuck without finishing. What kept me going was the absolute yearning between Ouyang and Esen. I want to sob thinking about them. I love them so much. Holy crap.
This was such a great character-driven story. I felt like I was in everyone's lives, not just their story. But the plot did lack, especially in the Part II. Still great.
