The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells
3.0

Was a good read. I liked the different tonal shifts but my favourite tone was the slightly comical and bemused lens that the narrator would take. It was an interesting concept and came across as incredibly modern and easy to read despite being published in 1897?!?!!! I also liked just how indefensible the main character is. Like he’s just a bad guy. He’s a douche. It’s fun to laugh at him (even though getting beaten to death by a mob is a bit intense). Also surprisingly sobering ending as his body returns back to visible.
