I love the TV-show and decided to read the books. I did some research on the books before I started and everyone said that they were so good.
I started reading and... I didn't understand a bit! Everything is so complicated and stupid! I guess this is because I have seen the show and the books are very different. I don't recommend reading them because they make you hate Elena even more.
