Change Your Questions, Change Your Life: 10 Powerful Tools for Life and Work by Marilee G. Adams

4.0

This book is a great introduction to simple question-asking mindset shifts for better communication and collaboration.

I used to love the style of a story or parable to make a point, but I think I’ve just read too many of them and the trope is getting old on me. The first person narrative didn’t work for me either. For the audio version, a female narrator playing mostly male characters also doesn’t work well.

I think this book would be better to read rather than listen to. It has a great reference section at the back. I will buy a paper copy so I can go back to the good stuff rather than listening to it again on audiobook.

Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s an easy-to-follow story with excellent learning points, especially for someone new to leadership or struggling with negative self-talk or frustration with coworkers.
