This was the first book I've read by Rysa Walker, and I'm fairly impressed. Her style of writing was so fascinating and riveting. Throughout the book, I was glued to the page and couldn't keep my eyes away. As a result, I managed to finish the book in 1 day.
The thing that really caught my attention in this book was the romance. You see, I normally hate love triangles- but this book was different. The love triangle had no affect on the central figure of the plot whatsoever. Trey and Kiernan- the two love interests- were quirky and loveable characters but at the same time, their love for Kate was not too irritating. The romance was probably the best part of the book!
The ending of the book was fantastic! There was no real cliffhanger so if you're planning on reading this book, you will be pleased to know that you won't have to wait for the next book in the series. I was caught off guard with the ending. (SPOILER ALERT) Trey, you are absolutely wonderful. I wish you were real!
In the end, Trey and Kate were practically made for each other. I am so looking forward to the next book, which is supposedly coming out on October 2014. I am so happy for Rysa! You totally deserve that Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award! Congratulations!
