This book is very similar to The Last Wish, because it is a book of shot stories. The stories are a little bit easier to follow and the timeline makes more sense than The Last Wish.
Some of the stories really captured my attention while others were more forgettable. Dandelion and Essi (Little Eye) were by far my favorite characters! I loved every second we got with them!
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't like Yennefer's character in the books. She is very manipulative, power hungry, and selfish. She probably acts this way as a defense mechanisms.
I'm going to watch the first season of the Witcher TV show, to see how it compares to the books. I hope I like it more than the books so far.
