Mask Off: Masculinity Redefined by J.J. Bola

challenging informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

3.0

doesn't go into enough detail, i understand the target audience is more teenage boys/ young men, but the author mentions reading bell hooks etc. as a teenager which is a bit more radical than this, so i think going into more depth is warranted. that being said, it's a quick read and very accessible starting point for someone that may be new to feminism or coming at it with a negative perception of feminism, as many young boys particularly might be, from being radicalised against it online. i also appreciate the wealth of resources provided at the end of the book
