The Davenports by Krystal Marquis
3.0
The men do A LOT of circling the inside of the palms of women with their fingers in this book. Maybe I’m not a romance reader? This books was fine. I liked that it was Chicago and based on a real family. I think I wanted there to be more reality to this- the timelines were jumbled (by decades) and even sometimes within a page. I kept questioning the time of day for all these activities as well as what year. Easy read after surgery- didn’t require my undivided attention.
