this book was good, I think the writing was very well done and the plot line was good; however I think the author may have spent a little too much focus on Will and Daisy's relationship and the aftermath of the accident; Daisy's grief and coping period was short and it felt like throughout the rest of the story any decisions she made were made by a part of her that still needed to heal and process. I also think the ending with her a Luis was too random, it read like grief filled Stockholm syndrome and felt out of place and rushed.
this is definitely not a book for people familiar with formula one, it felt like a bad narration of the sport and the technical side could have been executed better. most of the plot twists felt forced as well, too random, there was no need for daisy's dad to be a sponsor on the team for her to lose her job, I think Daisy quitting because she wanted to, not being she had no other options, would have made the story a lot better.
