I don’t really know how I feel about this book to be honest. I liked the writing style (I already knew I liked Gaiman’s writing style though). I don’t really have strong opinions on it. I liked how everything tied up at the end. The world building was kind of all over the place, but for such a short book it was done very well and it kind of fit the vibe of the book. You could tell things weren’t supposed to make so much sense, at least on the world building side of things, so it was just interesting. The concept was cool as well. I still have no idea really on how the wall works, but that’s probably just my fault. I also don’t understand the organization thing that liked looked over him, again probably my bad, but still. Overall, it was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it and I’d especially recommend it if you like fairies and the fae realm.
In conclusion: everything makes sense but no sense at the same time, which is quite impressive I’d say.
