Holy shit. The second book is so raw and emotional, but I found myself needing to continue to read so I could know every single characters story. It was sad and funny and insane, and powerful. It’s dark, and I didn’t think I’d enjoy that as much as I did.
Graphic: Child abuse, Death, Pedophilia, Rape, and Blood
The trigger warnings at the beginning are important. It is very dark, and about some very serious abuse issues. But, I actually enjoyed the way she wrote about those things, mostly not glorifying them. Especially the sexual abuse, and pedophilia. She wrote it in detail, but still damned it and made sure we knew it was evil.
