This was an interesting retelling of Carmilla and the relationships were interesting but the execution did not really do it for me. It was very slow in moments and spent a lot of time on details that were not interesting enough to carry the pace without more compelling prose. I liked the hopeful ending. And that it did not all play out perfectly.
