Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

5.0

Listened via audiobook. This is a book everyone needs to read. It is important to hear a perspective outside your own. This book just happens to be comprehensive on a large factors that feminism is ignoring. She makes an obvious point. I will admit, I myself have made comments about poverty being an issue that can wait, but that’s the thing it shouldn’t have to. We can’t afford to let it. I’m glad I took the time to listen.
