This book was new territory and I’ve never read anything like it. I liked that it focused on real issues, but there seemed to be no resolution to those issues which I guess is true in real life. The relationship between Connell and Marianne is depressing and almost heartbreaking. They kept coming back to each other, but almost never seemed to be in the right mental state for each other. HATE the ending but I know the point is to show the realistic and more probable outcome to situations like this than the idealistic one we all imagine.
