A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J. Maas

2.25

The spice was good, but I cannot get over the fact that
Rhys literally took away Feyre’s bodily autonomy and lied to her. And that when nesta tells her about the wings and what that truly means, it’s seen as the worst thing she has ever done when it was absolutely the right thing to do. </spoilers>
For a book that tries to have so many themes of girl boss, feminism, ect the better route would have been
for feyre to be informed of potentially dying and deciding to keep the baby with fully informed consent.Maybe this just strikes a particular nerve in me since I am a L&D nurse that has seen this play out with real people. A++ on the C-Section rep tho.

The fact that in the end
all is forgiven without any consequences
is so hand wavey it bugs me

For all the book was hyped up to be, it is by far the worst book in the series.
