Being someone who gets hesitant with dark romances, I’d say this one was a fun Halloween flick. LOVED all of the spooky gothic vibes in Grimstone by Sophie Lark.
Dane specifically was a very interesting character because I assumed that he would be a standoffish intimidating guy that wouldn't show emotion based on his interactions with Remi in the beginning. But he did prove us wrong the more we got into the storyline.
The spooky vibes were exactly what I was looking for this month and the touch of romance and mystery was perfect.
I wish the book had more of the thriller aspect the last 10% provided. I enjoyed the excitement and it kept me engaged through the whodunnit vibe the ending provided that I wanted more, I felt like to storyline sometimes got a little choppy but still enjoyed it!
