Man, I was really digging this at first - for a while there, it was like young adult Succession, and I love a story about Rich People Problems. But the writing, which at first I thought was really striking and interesting, got very repetitive, and the fairy tale motif felt super repetitive as well. By the twist at the end I was just angry and tired. The twist left me feeling like there hadn't been much of a point to anything that had come before.
Moderate: Animal death, Fire/Fire injury, Injury/Injury detail
