4.5
I just finished this and I am gutted I can’t give any higher than 4.5 stars. But there was a few things that I just couldn’t get over. I cannot understand why reviews say miles is an ass. He is anything but, he’s a guy with flaws. So is every one of Colleen Hoovers guys. I also cannot understand why people on booktok and booktube say page 275 is emotionally destroying. As a person who cries at everything I was expecting to sob throughout the entire book not just at Clayton’s death, miles meeting Claire and the epilogue. Also what the actual hell was miles on in chapter 32? He went from sounding like an adult to sounding like a 5 year old and then back to sounding like an adult! aside from those three issues I enjoyed the book, and it was a nice easy read even if I wish I hadn’t read some of it on public transport. Sadly this is not my favourite Colleen Hoover I much preferred the Slammed trilogy over Ugly love which appears to be a controversial opinion
Moderate: Child death and Grief
Just don’t read this book in public or in front of your grandparents and great grandparents
