So I was ecstatic when I found out Mrs. Singh was writing Naasir's book and now that I've read it, I'm sooo happy it lived up to all the hype!
Naasir is a part a Raphael's seven which consists of other Angels, Vampires and Naasir. He is part boy, vampire, tiger and immortal but loves to tease Elena about his true origins. We do find out his horrific background in this book and wowsa. His story is unlike any other.
Now that he's grown up, Naasir feels he's ready for a mate. He meets a scholar at the refuge named Andromeda. She is the grandchild of Charisemnon and has taken a vow of celibacy. O.O Ok, so she kinda comes outta nowhere and at first I was a little irritated by this. BUT All of the irritation melted away as soon as I could see the great chemistry these two have. They are sent on a mission by Raphael to find and wake an ancient Archangel in sleep before Lijuan discovers him because of course she wants to kill him before he could maybe kill her. UGHHHH yes Lijuan is still alive! Why won't she die already?
Naasir is so wild and has feral, animalistic ways about him. Can we talk about the rutting? He wants to rut with Andi. He tells her continually. Why is this so damn hot to me? Something may be wrong with me... O.o
One other major takeaway in this book for me is the confirmation of Illium and Aohdan! OHHH YESSSS! I am so here for this!!! *starts petition for this pairing in the next book*
