I will say this, Lynn is the author that makes you fall in love with any trope she writes about. She’s the only author that I read MM. She makes the story more than just about the characters. From beginning to end, you are right there the whole time falling in love with the main characters.
Mattie is the teacher who is struggling after losing his wife to cancer. He hasn’t been himself in three years, like he has been living in a fog. We’ve met Sean through the whole series, his story will make you fall in love with him as a person. The push and pull they go through to be together will keep you on the edge of your seat. I was very surprised on the direction the book took in the end for them to be together. It was the sweetest thing about a professor/student book I’ve read before.
