Tact: A Pride and Prejudice Variation by Margaret Devere, Jeannie Peneaux
3.0

An interesting what if that explores how the story would have changed if Elizabeth’s wit was directed kindly and rationally rather than emotionally and in the quest for amusement. While everyone feels in character, it does lead to a very different relationship with the Rosings contingent. Short, so the focus was naturally on Lizzy and Darcy, but I would have been interested to dig a little more on the surrounding characters. Interestingly enough, Mr. Collins was actually one of the most fleshed out characters.
