The Fraud
by Zadie Smith
Good - thematically complex, alive, mining. A bit wordy, though this is itself part of the novel's playful engagement with Victorian literature. Vibrant and playful, while never losing track of the other aspects of a lifetime lived and a period in history passed: grief, mourning, naivety, boredom.
