I really liked this. I think it actually showed the struggles of being a graduate and being done over in unpaid internships and wasn’t just a character ~who had it all~. Also loved that she wasn’t fixed by a love interest but instead found comfort and happiness in an unlikely friendship. The elderly characters are fully formed people with stories to tell and interesting pasta and not just based in stereotypes of being old. An all round great read, id definitely read a sequel about where Elissa’s business plan ended up for sure!
