My least favorite of the Drizzt books so far.

The fight scenes with Entering went on so so long for no reason, just rehashing all of the same stuff from the previous book. We don’t need that many pages on one fight. I was also bummed by Vierna’s arc— she had shown herself to be merciful before and now it’s gone for no reason?? Similarly Wulfgar’s crazy character arcs were so strange. This book just felt less thought out and interesting.
