Ugh. Talk about seedy. Everyone in here was actively grossing me out. An extra half star for making me uncomfortable the whole time. Every change in perspective pushed me off-kilter, keeping me unsure who the MC really was (now I know it is a series), every reveal took the story in a new direction. I think there were three focal points told in different voices, showcasing different types of pathological thinking and behavior. Is anyone killing or is everyone? Or is everyone dying? This felt like something exhausting to live through with all the changes. It was very well-played and kept me unsettled. Weird how everything fit & held together in the end. Several things were unpredictable. Overall good, but made me feel gross. Every character was tawdry and creepy.
