This is such a tender, exquisite, poetic, and beautiful book. Despite Carol being cold, aloof and guarded I fell in love with her, and as Therese described how Carol was courage, I fell in love with her courage. I guess this was my re-read, I don't remember when I read this, maybe it was the year 2021 summer, and also the movie has had me in a chokehold *coughs* Cate *coughs* Blanchett. This is a book that you go to again and again because it is that beautifulbeautiful. Also, it is such a butterfly inducing book. Best to curl up with in winters.
