Skippy Dies by Paul Murray
5.0

I liked this book a lot. It's a good "post-9/11" story of Ireland. It's very realistic, though there are some ribbons and bows, as expected with a relatively "traditional novel" structure. My main criticism of it is that it's maybe trying to do too much at once, but being a person who feels that way about myself, I was okay with this most of the time. We are reading it for bookclub, and I'm very anxious as to what everyone else who I'm reading with it felt about it. We shall see!
