As a Black American, this novel really spoke to me. This is a beautifully rich and full story of our people told through the generations from pre colonial Africa to today. We are all connected ✊🏾 from the villages in Ghana and West Africa, to the American deep south, north east, and West. Full humanity on display in all its beauty and pain.
