Famous Last Words by C.W. Farnsworth

I am a sucker for a New Adult college romance and to top all that of a it’s a 1000 times better if there’s sports involved and we can all thank Miss Hannah Grace for this obsession. But this book had the right amount of everything that I love about this genre. It has angst, enemies to lovers, witty and funny dialogues and banter between the female and male main characters, she’s also the sassy heroine and he’s the moody grumpy hero that she needs in her life, but even more she needs from him.

There was the perfect amount of drama and backstory between the two of them with just the right amount of depth, although I would have loved her to slap or punch Landon in the face once or twice when he was being a insensitive dick to her. But I still enjoyed him as one of the main side characters within the book. I just wish he’d known more about the history there because Conners reasons for hating his dad are VALID!! Landon’s reasons for hating Connor are childish and sooooo misinformed and the parents let him believe them, and Harlow feels like she’s caught in the middle of it all because of her connection to everyone.

I’ll definitely be reading the next book in the series when it comes out, as this book was just a nice easy read with a bit of spice and tension, although I am curious as to which of the side characters it’ll be about.
