Again the Magic by Lisa Kleypas
3.5

Whew, this was spicy pretty much from page one. And what a wild ride! <spoilers> Childhood friends to lovers to enemies to revenge lovers to enemies again to real lovers...and I probably missed at least one stage. Lady Aline and McKenna are probably not a couple I'd root for IRL because they're a bit toxic (well, he is) and act like teenagers even when adults (like him wanting to get her pregnant out of revenge and her breaking his heart because she didn't want him to see the scars on her legs, like??), but boy was their journey entertaining.

I was far less entertained by the sister's romance being a subplot. While I grew interested in them (especially Gideon's struggles with alcoholism), I wish they'd just had their own book instead of interrupting this one.

Overall enjoyed this and will be continuing the series.
