The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

5.0

I accidentally spoiled the ending for myself long before I got even halfway through the book, so I can’t speak to whether the ending was truly mind blowing or not. However, EVEN having spoiled the ending, I still read this entire book in one sitting and was thrilled for the entire ride.

I actually had fun noticing the small details and clues that I knew should be pointing toward the truth. I almost think I had more fun reading it while knowing the ending than I might have had I been kept in the dark.

This book is definitely one you won’t want to put down. The end isn’t entirely surprising (in my opinion) if you’re used to reading mystery books, but the tale is so thrilling and fascinating that it doesn’t even matter. I loved every second of this.
