A Sorceress Comes to Call by T. Kingfisher
4.0
This book is another reminder of why T Kingfisher is an auto buy author!!
The characters are so unique and different that’s it’s refreshing, our ‘heroes’ aren’t the head first into danger, chosen one or has so much power. The heroes are a young meek girl, 2 old ladies, a ghost, an old man and a butler.
I loved seeing Cordelia interact with everyone at the start to seeing her develop so much without her mother being there to intervene.
This story does have some darkness to it and I will now be very weary of white horses with green eyes and I will also be giving geese a second chance.
I love the beginning, middle and end with the dual pov of Hester and Cordelia.
