while I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I did DESPERATE MEASURES, this one was so so hot and once again, I’d read anything katee robert writes 😮💨
following a poly relationship between hades, meg and hercules, the three of them must come to terms with their bargain with the underworld god and the best way to finally admit to their feelings for each other!!
friends with benefits usually isn’t my favorite trope so I think that’s why I didn’t love this one as much - plus meg was insecure about herself af (totally unlike her normal characterization) which made me want to shake her by the shoulders and scream that she’s a queen and not to be messed with!!!
as someone who can relate to trust issues 🤪 … I get the hesitation between the three of them, but it wasn’t enough to balance an entire story off of imo
rating: 3.5 stars
wine pairing: chile cabernet sauvignon
