I nearly DNF’d this twice, but I powered through it. This book had me hating the main characters and humanity. I found myself saying things like, “this is going to be horrible” and “why would you write a plot like this?” So, you know, not ideal. And one final complaint—I’m all for an angsty romance, but why does the angst have to come at the expense of a sweet, innocent woman?!?
