Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1 by Whitney G.

3.0

I think the shortened format ended up hurting this story overall. I could tell it's part of a larger story, but I think some things get rushed in order to make sure it fits into this beginning segment. Plus my favorite thing about these books is the tension of two people falling in love. I like the unique circumstances - two people in love but they don't know the real identity of the other - but I think it just lacked those moments where the reader gets to see it happening even if the characters are still pretending.

Short and vague review because I went onto reading the others and I don't want to spoil anything if I've forgotten what segment it was in.
